In this new booktrailer, we present the book by Anna Ramis, From 0 to 3, no screens? The questions that parents often ask themselves are: "How long can I let my toddler use a mobile or tablet or watch TV for?", "What is the most appropriate thing to do if they are not yet 2 years old?", "If we show them English cartoons, will it help them learn the language now that they are like sponges?", "How can we take the screen away without them throwing a tantrum? But what no one questions is that when you leave your child with a screen in their hands, it is as if they disappear. Indeed, screens have become the tool that parents use for their own peace of mind, at the expense of their children's health. The author of this book, Anna Ramis (mother, teacher and educator), leads us to question clichés such as those that say that "babies are now digital natives" or "the sooner they start to become familiar with screens, the better, because they are going to be their livelihood". It also presents us with the consequences (already documented by paediatric studies) of the use (and abuse) of screens before the age of 3. In short, it makes us reflect on the responsibilities of parents and educators based on the needs and rights of the youngest children.
