{"id":14489,"count":1,"description":"Dr. Marcelino Jim\u00e9nez Le\u00f3n is a specialist in Modern and Contemporary Spanish Literature. He received his doctorate with a thesis on the critical work of Enrique D\u00edez-Canedo, which was awarded the Extraordinary Prize of the University of Barcelona. He has lectured at the University of Girona and the Autonomous University of Barcelona. He is currently a lecturer at the University of Barcelona, where he teaches in the Faculty of Philology and is coordinator of the Literature section of the Department of Hispanic Philology, Literary Theory and Communication.\n\nHe has focused his research on Spanish literature of the Silver Age, has numerous publications on Spanish novels, poetry and theatre of the 20th century and has participated in several research projects, as well as in national and international conferences. His current lines of research are the history of Spanish literary criticism and the teaching of literature in compulsory secondary education and the baccalaureate.
